Sam’s place is ideal for large groups wanting to interact and be in a together setting and walking distance to everything you could need. The restaurant dining and bar area have been converted into kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and kettle, all
Cookware and utensils a big group could need. There’s a dining, living and recreational area that boast ping pong table, foosball and dart board. There is plenty of seating with three couches, two armchairs, massage chair, unlimited restaurant chairs AND TV with WIFI . The back of the banquet hall has been panelled off with Western Red Cedar for an authentic Haida Gwaii feel into 5 bedrooms and flexibility to add on a couple small areas with single beds . The bathrooms have been updated and in one there are 2 toilet stalls and shower stall with vanity, second bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. We have a guest laundry room and a small workout gym area with weights, weight bench and elliptical machine.
If coming with a school or tour group and needing more sleeping spaces we have extra cots/sleeping bags/foamies and there is space to put them! Being right down town we are across the street from the Friday farmers market and local coffee shop. Right beside the grocery store and restaurant and only one block from the green park and tennis court. (Bank, post office, liquor store within one block) Contact us direct for discounts for groups.
We have a commercial kitchen so optional meal prep and catering can be arranged for additional fees upon request or rented for additional fees.
We also do day salmon fishing charters, inquire for pricing and availability. We will have starting June 2024 a new separate jacuzzi suite with full kitchen, queen size bed and it’s own bathroom as well as three additional individual bedrooms with a shared bathroom that can be added to the suite or rented out separately. Guests have access to their whole side of the building with a separate entrance and complete privacy, no shared spaces:)

North beach is the biggest local attraction and only a 20 minute drive 🙂
